In the spirit of your post -- have you seen the new show called 'till death do us part' -- on court tv, i think? hosted by john waters (which is cool) -- but the premise of the show is to take real life cases of murder involving spouses - and then dramatize it. the acting is horrible - the production values, cheesy -- which sounds like it would be fun to watch in that 'after school special' way -- but then when you watch it, and see how they camp it up, it starts to feel totally wrong when you think of how this really happened to someone -- the writers aren't just making this stuff up -- the tone of the episodes are clearly intended to mock the dead -- and there's just something not right about that. The only thing less watchable than a piece of crap is a pretentious piece of crap.
