Maybe I'm just lucky, but I've never experienced a wait with Netflix. I'd say maybe 2% of the time it takes an extra day. Earlier this year I did an experiment and posted the results. That convinced me.

I can't imagine myself seriously patronizing Blockbuster, with their widely known practice of purchasing expurgated versions of movies. How can anyone seriously interested in film consent to watch these versions of an artwork? (The hypocrisy of offering soft-core porn on the same shelves astounds me.) More importantly, perhaps, I don't feel like I would gain much in going to Blockbuster stores, since their selection comprises 100 copies of each of the latest new releases.

I think we'll have to agree to disagree on this one. I'm a Netflix guy.
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('392','screenwriterguy','Maybe I\'m just lucky, but I\'ve never experienced a wait with Netflix.
I use Blockbuster Online. Not only do I get movies for the same price, I get to switch them in the store for more movies. So, I've set my Queue online for older movies that I need to watch that I didn't get a chance to (I just watched Director's Cut of Brazil), and traded it in for Zodiac (which just came out) so I don't have to wait 2+ weeks to get it.
I used to have Netflix when it first came out, but they came too slowly for me (took about a week and a half to get my movies) so I stopped it. Started Blockbuster Online a few months ago, and they regularly come a day or two after I drop them off at Blockbuster. Brand loyalty? Sure, but you could get so much more... Think of the Kittens!
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('391','Robby','I use Blockbuster Online.
