Sunny WAS appointment television, until this season. I feel like they got away from the devious plotting of a group of misfits, and turned to trying to push the envelope as far as possible. The episode about pooping in bed did me in. Hopefully, they'll rediscover the dysfunctional codependency of these characters, and then I'll be right there. Believe me, I'll be on season 5, ep 1 the day of, ready to give them another chance.

Two and a Half Men has been the number one rated sitcom in America for years. In fact, going into its sophomore year, the Sitcom almost entirely dead, T&aHM was nearly the only prime time sitcom. (Scrubs couldn't get a regular time slot to save its life...) Quite possibly, T&aHM's success saved its genre. As an aspiring TV comedy writer, I need to have it in my vocabulary. Meanwhile, it's showrunner is also the showrunner on Big Bang Theory, which I find delightful. And I have a client who has offered to mention me the next time he sees that showrunner. Thus... homework TV.

Meanwhile, obviously, I'll work on ANY SHOW. ANNNNNNN-NEEEE SHOW. Do I have to explain this to someone who has taken a meeting at National Lampoon? ;)
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('1445','screenwriterguy','Sunny<\/em> WAS appointment television, until this season.
Dude, it is profoundly disturbing and wrong that you do not have Sunny in Philly as appt television. What the hell is wrong with you? Also, why are you watching Two and Half Men, even as homework. Next time I see you, I'm punching you in the groin.
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('1444','You Are an Idiot','Dude, it is profoundly disturbing and wrong that you do not have Sunny in Philly as appt television.
