Battlestar Galactica plot hole? Some geek please refresh my memory. (spoilerish)

Don’t read this unless you’re up to date with BSG.
OK, so the humans are now getting along with the cylons. (At least as evidenced by the fact that Adama invited them to find a new planet together.)
What was the problem with that planet where they wound up in prison camp? What was it called? New Caprica? Wasn’t the reason they left it because the cylons imprisoned them, and they ran once they got free?
If they’re on the cylons’ side now, knowing that Earth is out, why doesn’t everyone go back to the prison camp planet, and just make lots of hybrid babies? What am I forgetting?

You’re forgetting that only a portion of the Cylons’ are ‘friends’ with the humans. The other half are pretty much hunting them down, and know the location of New Caprica and would most probably eventually return there to seek them out.

Ahh. Right. So we’ve essentially just stopped thinking about all the old cylons, but they’re still out there. Makes sense.
